Lemoine Point Conservation Area

Lemoine Point is a 15 minute drive or 45 minute bus ride from campus, and has 11km of hiking trails through forest, fields, and marshlands. A great place for a hike, to go swimming, or have a picnic! Click here for directions and more information

 

Belle Park

Belle Park has a nice walking or biking trail that connects to the Belle Island Trail and K&P Trail. This is a great place to go birding in Kingston! It is a 10 minute drive or half hour bus ride from Queen’s Campus. Click here for directions and more information

 

Marshlands Conservation Area

Part of the Rideau Trail goes through the Marshlands Conservation Area, a beautiful place for a walk or birdwatching, only a 5 minute drive or 20 minute bus ride from Queen’s Campus! Click here for directions and more information

 

Grenville Park

You can find several hiking trails at Grenville Park, including part of the Rideau Trail. Only 5-10 minute drive or half hour bus ride from Queen’s Campus! Click here for directions

Rideau Trail

Hiking Around Kingston

 Rock Dunder Hiking Trail

A Kingston classic! The trailhead is about a 45 minute drive from Queen’s campus. You can do the 3.9km Summit Loop (pictured), or the 2km Morton Bay Loop. Click here for directions and more information

Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area

Several trails through marshlands, field and forest areas. Just north of Kingston, a 15 minute drive from Queen’s Campus. Click here for directions and more information!

 

Cataraqui Trail

Year-round recreational trail used for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The trail is 104km and can be accessed from several places just outside Kingston. Click here for map and more information

 

Frontenac Provincial Park

Parrot’s Bay Conservation Area
